Air Marshal Tanvir Mahmood calls on

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Tanvir Mahmood Ahmad, paid a farewell call on Federal Minister for Defence, Chaudary Ahmad Mukhtar, in Ministry of Defence today. The Minister lauded the services rendered by the outgoing Chief of Air Staff for the defence of the country during his long career. The Minister also appreciated the contribution made by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Tanvir Mahmood Ahmad for strengthening and enhancing the defence capability of Pakistan Air Force. Talking to the Chief of Air Staff, the Minister said that the Government was taking all necessary measures to strengthen the capability of its Armed Forces so as to effectively cope with challenges being confronted by the country. The Chief of Air Staff also called on Secretary Defence, Lt General Syed Athar Ali (Retd).
