Kashmir

Thanks to my job (a telecom engineer presently working in Huawei Technologies Co. on ZONG Project in Muzaffarabad) that it takes me to different areas.

We take Kohala road - river on one side and snow laden high mountains on both sides – to and from site. These mountains are half covered with yesterday night snow falling. Murree and Bhur Bun hills that can be seen at “Samna” look magical.


Adventure started when we found Kohald Bagh road blocked. We lined the jeep in queue, and went to discover heavy stones blocking the road and one person breaking these stones with hammer. Panorama around was beautiful; mountains were covered with snow, water falls between stones, clouds were coming downward, sun rays trying to come out.

Later, came the heavy drilling machine with long iron road and started clearing. What makes this story is that I was recording my observation on Laptop on site (of a block). The only thing that keeps coming back is Kashmir; how beautiful it is and how resilient are the people.
